Lot 28 An 1821 pattern light cavalry officers sword by Pulford & Co, London. Shagreen grip with wire binding, chequered pommel and 3 bar steel guard. Single edged slightly curved blade with flat spine, short section near tip becoming double edged. Leather washer at the ricasso, plus proof mark and and makers mark. Profusely etched decoration, and the VR monogram and crown to both sides. One side also has a family crest and what appears to be initials GMC. Complete with original leather sword knot
