Leather contoured grip, which likely would have had wire binding when first made. Curved single edged blade, with flat spine and single fuller. Complete with steel scabbard, with 2 suspension rings. The blade carries both German / Prussian issue marks for 1850, plus British inspection marks, indicating it was inspected in Liege. The manufacturers mark is for
