Lot 104 A British 19th century 1827 pattern Royal Navy Officers Sword. Brass fold down guard, with fouled anchor and Queen’s crown inset into the guard. Brass backpiece and pommel, the latter being shaped as a lions head, the mane forming the pattern on the backpiece. Fish skin grip with twisted wire binding, and original sword knot attached to the guard. Steel single edged blade, with flat spine, single fuller, and etched decoration to both sides. Complete with original leather and brass scabbard.
