Lot 26 A 1960s showgirl feather headdress that came from Murray’s Cabaret Club, 16-18 Beak St, in London a venue known for its notorious hostesses, Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies, who were both implicated in the Profumo affair in the 1960s. This is an original, handmade feather made from silver lamé fabric with a metal inner to create the shape, silver sequins and plumes of pink and black feathers, it would have clipped or slotted on to a head band of sorts This is a rare and fabulous survivor
