Lot 28 Lot containing a pair of Saxon equal arm brooches. Circa 8th-10th century AD. Copper alloy brooch formed  of a central arch with an arm on each side terminating with decorated flat circular foot plates. Each has it’s pin missing but double pin bar and catch plate are in tact. Both are close in style to those shown Ref: Hattatt's Ancient Brooches. p. 380. fig, 1321.                                                                           Brooch 1 has a punched hole inside of a circle at the peak
