Lot 46 A WW2 era German army M40 EF62 single decal combat helmet. With field grey paint and Heer decal to one side. The helmet is marked ‘EF62’ to the underside of the left skirt, and also twice with a number 4. To the underside of the rear skirt is a batch number ‘9295’. The helmet is complete with its 8 tongue pigskin leather liner, which is ink stamped twice, and also has the original users name, which appears to read 191H3 S Rotheim’. The liner also appears to be dated 41 and has some letters
