Lot 18 of 739: Roman Lion Terminal Copper alloy, 17.35 grams. Length: 22.95 mm; width: 10.70 mm; height: 22.96 mm. Circa 1st-4th century AD. A terminal in the form of a stylised lion, laying with front limbs extended and head turned slightly right. The fur and mane are created by a series of engraved crescent shaped lines.
