Lot 39 of 739: Roman TOT Ring. Circa 1st-4th century AD. Silver, 6.91 grams. 24.91 mm, internal: 19.90 mm. A large heavy gauge D-shaped finger ring with wide bezel and flared edges on both sides that form a border around the circumference. The details of the ring are very worn but still visible, TOT across the bezel with two rows of three punched dots running down the shoulders. Ref: Catherine Johns, The Jewellery of Roman Britain.
