Lot 102 of 739: Medieval Vessica Seal Of Eton Circa 14th-15th century AD. Copper-alloy, 28.2 grams. 43mm x 29mm. 28.2g.  A very important Medieval seal matrix of the deanery at Eton. The face of the seal has a legend and central device. The legend, written in black-letter, reads s' decanatus de eton. The inscription means 'Seal of the deanery of Eton'.
