Lot 121 of 739: Medieval Heraldic Pendant. Circa 14th century AD. Copper-alloy, 18.00 grams. 51.38 mm. A complete fully enamelled medieval horse harness pendant complete with hanger. The pendant itself is a quatrefoil displaying three crowns with crossed arrows between on a field of blue enamel. The arms are closely linked to the Town arms of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk that also display three crowns with crossed arrows through each crown. Ref: Mills, Medieval Artefacts. p.65. fig. NM 175.
