From the garden to your home - A Midnight Robin Paperweight

This beautiful Robin is coloured in black and red with fine tonal details in the feathers, then magnificently finished in platinum gilding.

The first ever Robin paperweight was made by Royal Crown Derby in 1989 and since then there have been a long line of beautiful versions of the robin design. The first Robin was iron red, cobalt blue, and white with a gilded finish. These traditional colours were used on all the early paperweights and are taken from the iconic Imari designs for which Royal Crown Derby are so well known for. This Midnight Robin is one of a number of paperweight designs made since 2009 with deeper dusky tones.
