3 Sets of Horse Brasses on Leather Straps (11 brasses in total) This lot includes three sets of original horse brasses, which would all be suitable to hang on a chimney or display on a wall. The first set has four brasses and an approximate strap length 48cm/18 inches and 8cm/3 inches wide. The brasses show a unicorn in a circle of brass, a harp in a circle with holes all around, a thistle with leaves and a pattern with a circle within a circle. The second set is again on a strap approximately 48cm/18 inches in length and 8cm/3 inches wide. These brasses show a horse & cart, a thistle, a sheaf of corn with farming tools and a carthorse in harness. The final lot has three brasses on a strap of approximately 36cm/13 inches long and around 8cm/3inches wide. This strap shows brasses with a windmill, a mason symbol in a circle and a peacock with tail feathers on display. Some unusual designs for horse brass collectors.
