Lot 56 of 442: Anglo-Saxon Cross.    Circa 10th century AD. Size: 42.12 mm. A cast copper-alloy cross with expanding arms, possibly a pendant although there are no obvious signs of there being a suspension loop. The face of the cross is detailed with a pellet in ring motif at the base and tip of each arm with one in the centre. Traces of the silvered or tinned surface remain.
