Lot 125 of 442: Ancient Greek, Paphlagonia, Sinope.  Circa 330-300 BC. AR Drachm or Siglos. Silver, 4.9 grams. Obverse: Head of nymph left, hair in sakkos. Reverse: Sea-eagle standing left, wings spread, on dolphin left; ?IONY[?I] below eagle's wings. Ref:  SNG BM Black Sea 1485; HGC 7, 399.  Near EF with attractive tone. Purchased in the early 60s from B. A. Seaby, with old ticket.
