Lot 128 of 442: Ancient Greek, Corinth Stater,  Circa, 338 B.C. Silver, 8.5 grams. Obverse: Pegasus with pointed wing flying left, ? below. Reverse: Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet pushed back on head. Behind: Victory flying left holding bow with both hands. Ref: BMC 350. Very fine with beautiful old cabinet tone. Purchased in the early 60s from B. A. Seaby, with old ticket.
