Lot 267 of 418: An early nineteenth century black basalt covered sugar box, c.1800-10. It has a dolphin finial and has two moulded panels, one depicting the Death of General Wolfe. 13 cm wide. (1) Condition: Small chip to the underside rim of the lid.  Provenance: From the Jenkins Collection.
