Lot 28 of 381: A gold inscribed quarter stater of the North Thames Region/Catavellaunii, struck under Tasciovanus (c. 20 BC-AD 10) and dating c. 20 BC-AD 10. Rudd's 'Tasciovanus Pegasus' type. Obverse: inscription 'TASC' set within rectangular panel on vertical wreath. Reverse: Pegasus left. ABC 2601, BMC 1647-1650. Slightly off flan, otherwise Fine. Weight: 1.4g. Provenance: from the collection of a metal detectorist.
