Lot 78 of 381: A mixed lot of thirty-seven copper-alloy Roman coins. Mainly Constantinian pieces but also with an input of later 3rd century radiates. Worthy of individual mention: a well-preserved nummus of Crispus from the mint of Londinium, a LAETITIA AVG 'galley' reverse radiate of Allectus (AD 293-296) and a large-module 'Christogram' nummus of Magnentius or Decentius (c. AD 350-353). Some coins treated by finder. Poor to Fine. Provenance: from the collection of a metal detectorist.
