Lot 271A of 381: A complete cast copper-alloy gilt and champleve enamel anthropomorphic Limoges mount, dating c. 1150-1300. The mount takes the form of a robed and nimbate standing Saint, who faces the viewer with his hands clasped across his chest. The latter rendered via means of detailed engraving, twelve irregular cells infilled with a now slightly degraded bluish enamel on the front face of the mount are clearly intended to represent folds in his clothing.
