Lot 127 of 714: Medieval Vessica Seal.  Circa 13th-14th century AD. Copper alloy, 7.5g. 33 mm.  The seal face has an engraved device of a standing figure with one arm outstretched to hold a bird and the other arm held across the body, a dog is at their feet. The inscription reads, S' SIBILLE D' G[  ] (The seal of Sybil of G.?.). Ref: B. Pateman. p.61-66.
