Lot 11 of 1846: Celtic Knife Handle. Bronze, 25.27 grams. 46.55 mm. A rare piece of Iron Age metalwork. The piece is curved on the outer edge and tapers to a point resembling a horn. The back edge is straight with a small projecting stylised animal that tapers to meet the inside of the curve forming a perfect finger grip.
