Lot 34 of 1846: Roman Gold Jewellery Element.  Circa, 2nd-4th century AD. Gold, 18mm x 9mm, 0.6g. An impressive piece of Roman gold open-work, the design consisting of four panels, scrolled at each forming a series of circles around a central lozenge.
