Lot 70 of 988: Anglo-Scandinavian Stirrup Mount  Circa, 10th century AD. Copper-alloy, 61.31 x 30.82 mm. An exceptional example of its type and larger with an elongated top fixing point and side tendrils. The main body of the mount depicts a beast with entwined limbs in the Urness style.
