Lot 123 of 988: Medieval Pilgrims Ampulla.  Circa, 15th century AD. Lead, 40.4 grams. 59 mm. A shrine souvenir that was filled with holy water and sold to pilgrims. On one face is a scallop shell design and the other the initials S B, possibly indicating this ampulla was purchased at the shrine of Saint Benedict. Ref: M.
