Lot 2026 of 1247: A French two-train mantel clock with a cast bronze style figure playing a flute next to a tree. A brass plaque below is engraved "Improvisateur Par Ferrand". The figure is raised on an onyx base with onyx plinth and raised claw feet. The clock below the figure has a 3" dial with Arabic numerals, signed R & W Bird, Paris, surrounded by a cast bezel decorated with flowers and swags. Dimensions: 18" x 10" x 6".
