Lot 1042 of 217: Roman, a silver denarius struck for Caracalla (AD 198-217), dating to c. AD 212. Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG BRIT, laureate bearded head right. Reverse: PM TR P XV COS III PP, Salus seated left holding cornucopia, feeding snake from patera at feet to left. Mint of Rome. About Extremely Fine, a stunning portrait.
