Lot 32 of 199: A fine quality 18th / 19th century Papal Chamberlain’s sword, with likely earlier 17th century blade. All steel construction with inlaid horn grip. Square section cross guard with acorn finials, chased floral decoration to the handle, and a fluted pommel. Double edged straight rapier blade with shallow fuller to both sides.
