Lot 70 of 199: A mid 19th century Anglo-Indian artillery foot soldier sword, likely heavily inspired by the British 1853 pattern cavalry troopers sword. Chequered leather grips held in place by 5 rivets. Steel cross guard and quillon, plus D shaped knuckle guard. Plain un-fullered blade, single edged with flat spine. Hindi mark to knuckle guard. Approximately 78.2cm length, blade length 66cm. Condition: fair. Darkened patination to the steel, and some contact bumps to the flattened spine. One side of t
