Lot 77 of 199: A British late 18th century infantry officers sword, circa 1790. Steel guard with decorative feathered langets and curled quillon. D shaped knuckle guard leading up to a flattened pommel with decorative finial. Ribbed leather grip with copper wire binding. Single edged blade with flattened spine, one large and one small fuller. Decorative engraving to both sides of the blade, and partly along the spine. No apparent makers marks. Approximately 86.5cm length. Condition: generally good. Mu
