Lot 32 of 263: Saxon equal arm brooche. Circa 8th-10th century AD. Copper alloy brooch formed  of a central arch with an arm on each side terminating with decorated flat circular foot plates. Each has it’s pin missing but double pin bar and catch plate are in tact. The spine ridge pattern has four worn circles punched with a central hole in each. Both footplates have a cross forming four quadrants with a circle with a punched hole in each quadrant. 8.45g. Length 55.7mm
