Lot 256 of 263: Pair of Late Roman to Early Saxon copper alloy tweezers with arms still pliant and operable. The loop is decorated with two engraved lines flanking a moulded central groove. Both arms carry the same decoration, starting near the loop: three engraved transverse lines, a notch of both edges, three more lines, a 10mm-long chamfer along both edges, three more lines.
