Lot 43 of 705: Four Medieval Pilgrims Ampulla and Tokens .  Circa 14th-15th century AD. Lead. The Ampullae were 'Holy Water' vessel purchased by pilgrims at shrines.               Ampulla 1 is decorated on one side in the form of an escallop shell and on the other is creased and cannot be seen well enough to establish the image. Height 45.1mm. 30.76g.                                                                                       Ampulla 2 is decorated on both sides but is far too worn to see the image
