Lot 29 of 597: Early Anglo-Saxon Button Brooch, Circa AD 480-550. The brooch is circular in plan, demonstrating a raised edge so as to have the appearance of being dished. The front of the main body is decorated with an anthropomorphic motif consisting a stylised facing human mask, with stylised eyes, nose and brow evident.
