Lot 20 of 281: A WW1 memorial plaque, named to Albert Tree. Notes: a unique name in the CWGC record, which relate to 10003 Pte Albert Tree of the 2nd Battalion South Lancashire Regiment. Pte Tree was killed in action on October 24th 1914, and is commemorated at the Le Touret Memorial, France. Albert first entered the conflict on August 14th 1914, and is entitled to the 1914 Star trio, and the ‘Mons’ clasp.
