A Staffordshire Portrait figure of Rev. Henry Cooke (1788-1868). titled in capitals H Cooke DD. He was an Irish Presbyterian leader, considered an effective preacher and debater. This very rare figure appears in two versions. Both are in a Gothic niche above a clock face, but the figures are different. One, presumably based on a portrait of Cooke, shows him with fairly short hair, and wearing trousers. The figure at auction is the other version where the preacher in a long gown is identical
