A WW1 era gun sighting power 8 telescope. Marked for W.Ottway & Co Ltd Ealing. Dated 1918 with other marks denoting it being ‘No19’ and ‘Patt No G342’. The scope has a brass body with a black painted eyepiece area. 4 small holes and a larger hole to the underside for mounting on to a bracket. Approximately 66.5cm length. Condition: generally very good. Some very minor spotting / staining to the brass in places. No dents or splits to the body. The optics appear to be clear.

A brass military tank gun sight telescope, undated but possibly WW1 era. Marked Ross London Patent, and ‘No 43268’. Solid brass construction with Japanned eyepiece area. Crosshatched grip area marked ‘Turn this to change power’. Approximately 56.5cm length. Condition: generally good. Dark colour and patina to the brass, plus some normal wear to the Japanned area from use. There appears to be a cap or additional part missing to the threaded end. Optics appear to be clear.

SS Lordantrim Ships Bell in Wooden Frame. The Steamship LORDANTRIM was built in 1890 in Belfast and ran-aground (wrecked) off the coast of Portugal on 29/06/1914. The ship was part salvaged buy the Belfast Ship Co’ leaving just the hulk of the ship on the shore. Large amounts of the ship salvage was reused but the bell was sold and came to the Grandfather of the present owner (who worked at the Belfast shipyard). Bell size approximately 35cm wide by 33cm high.

Condition: the buckle and catch are in good condition, but the original leather belt has a large old repair where a sizeable strip of leather has been riveted into place, thus joining the 2 halves of the original belt together.
