Lot 21 A 19th century, post 1850 Police Constabulary or Prison Wardens sword, with associated scabbard. Standard pattern of the era, with brass pommel, D shaped knuckle guard, cross guard and quillon. Steel single edged curved blade, with button release catch at the ricasso. Patent leather scabbard with brass mount at throat and chape. Frog stud attached to the throat area. Approximately 74.5cm length in scabbard. Condition: some service wear. The ridged wooden grip is missing its shagreen cover
