73 An important mid 19th century Royal Dressing Robe gifted by Albert HRH Prince Consort. A pure silk dressing robe, hand sewn, the background is cream with a pattern of flori-bunda rose design, in golds and dusky pink with a foliage design. It has a small collar, covered buttons, two covered buttons at the back forming into a pleat, full length. Reputed to have belonged to Prince Albert Consort of Queen Victoria who died on December 14th 1861 aged just 42. This robe was probably from the mid 185 £1,000 - £2,000
