Lot 1004 of 217: British Late Iron Age, an uninscribed silver unit of the East Anglian Region/Iceni, dating c. AD 10-20. Rudd's 'Crescent Corn Ears' type. Obverse: opposing crescents and pellet-in-annulets at centre of four corn-ears, triad of pellets in each angle. Reverse: horse prancing left, wheel above, pellet-in-annulet between legs. Fair, the obverse better. Diameter: 12mm. Weight: 1.02g. ABC 1591.  Provenance: ex English collection.
